Job Summary:The Wind Mechanical Technician will act as part of a 2-man (minimum) team to achieve safe and efficient turbine maintenance. The Wind Mechanical Technician reports directly to the Resource Manager and indirectly to the Site Manager and Lead Technician when on a particular job. Responsible for performing all preventive, scheduled, and unscheduled maintenance on mechanical power plant equipment in safe and efficient manner for the Wind segments. Responsible for installing and repairing heavy rotating machinery used mainly in power generation applications, Turbines, and Generators as directed. Is not certified to perform work inside any Cabinet/Controller without direct supervision of a certified Electrical Technician. Basis requirement : To have the candidates from the Tafilah region only (Local Tafilah)Essential Responsibilities ? Ability to work independently on the implementation of fault analyses and repair of wind turbine generator systems in (Jordan, Tafilah) , including clarification of any client queries. . It is strongly recommended to hire the candidates from local Tafilah region and not from outside Tafilah. ? Planned and preventive maintenance of wind turbine generator systems. ? Documenting of call-out responses, fault finding and repair work in service reports, logbooks and checklists Qualifications/Requirements ?Professional training in electrical engineering sector (electrician, power electronics system, mechatronic engineer). Both electrical diploma holder and engineers are welcome.?Familiar with MS-Office operating system.. Good troubleshooting skills of electrical faults, understanding the turbine schematics and single line diagrams.?Familiar with PLCs.?High degree of quality awareness; excellent fault finding and diagnostic skills combined with the ability to detect and remedy faults, defects, problems.?Team player, cooperative, interested in further development.?Confident personality.?Able to work at heights and high level of physical fitness.?Structured worker with technical analytic abilities.?High degree of flexibility, highly motivated with the ability to work under pressure.?Willing to work sometimes also at the weekends.? Motor car Driving licence of Jordan ? Strong awareness for quality; Foresight in the identification and elimination of errorsDesired Characteristics ? 3 to 4 years Electrical/ mechanical service or maintenance experience is mandatory.
