Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and experienced professional to join our team in the movement of the companys machinery and equipment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of our machinery and equipment to various locations. The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of logistics and transportation processes, as well as experience in handling heavy machinery and equipment.Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate and plan the movement of the companys machinery and equipment to different locations.
  2. Ensure the safe loading, unloading, and transportation of machinery and equipment.
  3. Inspect and maintain the companys machinery and equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety.
  4. Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols during the movement of machinery and equipment.
  5. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate logistics and transportation activities.
  6. Provide support and guidance to the team members involved in the movement of machinery and equipment.
  7. Monitor and track the progress of transportation activities to ensure timely delivery.
  8. Maintain accurate records of transportation and logistics activities.
  9. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of transportation operations.
  10. Resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the transportation process.
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Prior experience in logistics and transportation, specifically in handling heavy machinery and equipment.
  2. Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and safety protocols.
  3. Excellent coordination and planning skills.
  4. Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  5. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  6. Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
  7. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  9. Flexibility and adaptability to changing transportation needs.
  10. Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
