Job Description

A financial controller is responsible for overseeing and managing the financial operations and reporting of a company. They play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information, as well as providing strategic guidance and analysis to support business decisions. The ideal candidate for this role should have strong financial acumen, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to effectively communicate financial information to stakeholders.Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
  2. Manage and monitor the companys financial performance, including cash flow, profitability, and liquidity
  3. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting principles
  4. Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls
  5. Analyze financial data and provide insights and recommendations to management for decision-making
  6. Collaborate with internal teams to develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs)
  7. Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and external stakeholders
  8. Manage the financial planning and budgeting process
  9. Oversee the companys tax planning and compliance
  10. Monitor and manage the companys risk exposure
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a similar role
  2. Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
  3. Professional certification such as CPA or CMA
  4. Strong knowledge of financial principles, regulations, and best practices
  5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  6. Proficient in financial software and MS Excel
  7. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  8. Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  9. Excellent communication and presentation skills
  10. Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders
