Maintenance Manager

Job Summary:The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for overseeing all installation, repair, and upkeep operations of the company?s facilities. They will ensure that machinery and equipment run smoothly and reliably. This role is critical in maintaining the efficiency and safety of the plant, and will contribute significantly to the continuous improvement and operational excellence of Safanaa Ideal Trading Company.Key Responsibilities:1. Maintenance Operations:Develop and implement maintenance procedures and systems to maximize efficiency.Oversee maintenance activities across all shifts to ensure minimum downtime and maximum productivity.Coordinate and supervise the work of maintenance staff and contractors.2. Preventive Maintenance:Develop and manage preventive maintenance programs to ensure that machinery and equipment are maintained at optimal performance levels.Schedule and oversee regular inspections and maintenance activities.3. Equipment Management:Ensure all equipment is functioning correctly and safely.Diagnose problems and determine corrective actions for equipment malfunctions.Manage the acquisition of spare parts and maintain appropriate inventory levels.4. Budget and Cost Control:Prepare and manage the maintenance budget.Monitor and control maintenance costs.Identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising safety or quality.5. Health, Safety, and Compliance:Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.Implement and enforce safety procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.6. Team Leadership and Development:Lead, coach, and develop the maintenance team.Conduct training sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of the maintenance staff.Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the maintenance team.7. Process Improvement:Identify and implement improvements in maintenance processes and practices.Use data and metrics to analyze maintenance performance and drive improvements.Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and integration of maintenance activities.8. Emergency Response:Develop and implement emergency response plans for critical equipment failures.Coordinate and manage emergency repairs to minimize operational disruptions.Qualifications:Education:Bachelor?s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field. A Master?s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CMRP, PMP) is preferred.Experience:Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in industrial maintenance, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or managerial role.Extensive experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution.Skills and Competencies:Strong technical knowledge of machinery, electrical systems, and industrial equipment.Excellent leadership and organizational skills.Proficiency in problem-solving and troubleshooting.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in maintenance management software and Microsoft Office.Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies is a plus.Personal Attributes:Strong commitment to safety and quality.Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.High level of integrity and professionalism.Benefits:Competitive salary and benefits package.Health insurance.Opportunities for professional development and growth.Relocation assistance if necessary.Safanaa Ideal Trading Company is an equal opportunity employer.
