Roles & ResponsibilitiesEnsure compliance with Aramco's stringent welding procedures and specifications, verifying all welding activities meet or exceed project requirements.Conduct thorough visual inspections of welds, identifying discontinuities and defects such as cracks, porosity, and undercut, and documenting findings accurately.Interpret complex engineering drawings, welding symbols, and specifications to confirm correct joint preparation, electrode selection, and welding parameters.Witness and monitor welding operations, ensuring adherence to approved welding procedures (WPS) and welder qualifications (PQR).Desired Candidate ProfilePossesses a CSWIP 1 certification, demonstrating a recognized level of competence in welding inspection.Holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or a related technical field.Has a minimum of 1 year of progressive experience in welding inspection within the oil and gas or petrochemical industry.Demonstrates proven experience with Aramco's specific standards, codes (e.g., API, ASME), and CBT approval requirements.
