Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our Food & Beverage operations, within Potus, our Lobby Bar & Restaurant which is a destination of style and great taste, serving dishes that favour American cuisine with a unique twist. This job role also includes the management of In Room Dining and Meeting & Events operations.At Crowne Plaza we look for people who are dynamic, confident and ambitious; people who excel in their role and help our guests succeed too.

  • Organisation and planning of the Food & Beverage operation.
  • Communication to and motivation of the team, by providing appropriate leadership and direction.
  • Being the ambassador of consistent quality service, ensuring that standards are maintained and qualitative and quantitative targets are attained.
  • Driving and encouraging an upselling culture to optimise sales across all Food & Beverage outlets.
  • Responsible for recruitment, induction and ongoing training and development of the team.
  • Maintaining effective control of resources and expenses without compromising standards, achieved via cost control, stock monitoring and effective payroll management.
  • Participate in the development of Food & Beverage budgets and the Sales and Marketing plan.
  • Co-operate and assist other departments, whilst fostering good working relationships.
