For close to a decade the firm has been actively engaging with multilateral bodies, government stakeholders and international suppliers to push forth nuclear energy developments in East Asia, Southeast Asia, India and Africa.The Global Civil Nuclear division of Industry Platform is looking to recruit up to 4 International Relations Interns to carry out both primary and secondary research on the energy developments, with a focus on nuclear energy, in 3 key global regions - Africa, the Middle East, and Europe.Key responsibilities include:- Developing a proficient level of understanding and knowledge of the regions energy sector- Pre-qualify leads for Account Managers to follow up on- Create New Leads through secondary and primary research- Communicate our value proposition to new leads via calls and emails to ascertain level of interest- Speak to potential leads to get referrals to correct leads who are either influencers or decision makers- Identify international stakeholders (sellers) which would have a commercial interest in these targeted African countries- Arrange meetings with key potential prospects- Develop proposal, build a pipeline of opportunities & secure accountsThis role reports directly to the Head of Africa & Middle East. This internship will be for a minimum of 3 months with a possibility for extension and/or conversion to a full-time position.This opportunity is open to all people based in Africa & Middle East.This is a remote internship (working from home ?online?).Remuneration for the internship: $250 (USD)
