Job Description

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager in Toronto, Canada, coordinate and manage the day to day responsibilities of the local office in Cairo. The candidate provides analytical support for all aspects of the supply chain process and is able to communicate with clarity, in groups or in one on one situations, to senior management.

  • Maintain constant communication with management, staff, and vendors to ensure proper operations of the organization in Cairo
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols for the ERP system
  • Grow the efficiency of existing organizational processes and procedures to enhance and sustain the organization?s internal capacity
  • Audit current infrastructure, and services to troubleshoot and improve
  • Actively pursue strategic and operational objectives
  • Ensure operational activities remain on time and within a defined budget
  • Lead, motivate, and support a large team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment
  • Manage timely data collection to update operations metrics to achieve productivity targets, reduce cost per unit, eliminate errors, and deliver excellent customer service
  • Partner with cross-functional support teams in improving the proprietary tools and systems
  • Oversee inventory management
  • Conduct budget reviews and report cost plans to upper management
  • Prepare necessary export documentations for all shipments, including banking documents for letters of credits (L/C) or documentary collections
  • Monitor shipment movements, strong follow up required
  • Liaise with customers, suppliers, shipping lines, warehouses on a daily basis
  • Work with sales divisions to analyze data and implement strategies with sales tracking from ERP
  • Analyze third party data with management to implement strategies and performance tracking
  • Identify and implement KPIs alongside management
  • Work with sales teams to support customer outreach and growth through software?
