- Collaborates with other departments and stakeholders to identify and maintain resources needed to˙˙˙˙˙provide an effective supply chain.- Analyzes current inventories and procedures; suggests improvements to increase the efficiency of˙˙˙the supply chain and profitability for the company.- Responsible for making new purchase contracts and following up on shipping procedures and˙˙shipping documents- Develop policies to increase efficiency throughout the supply chain while ensuring quality and˙˙safety.- Identifies optimal shipment and transportation routes with attention to consolidation of warehousing˙and distribution.- Liaising and negotiating with suppliers prices for raw materials and delivery with suppliers, vendors,˙and/or shipping companies.- Monitors the performance of suppliers, assessing their ability to meet quality and delivery˙requirements; identifies and qualifies new suppliers in collaboration with other departments.- Attending international exhibitions
