We are hiring Supply Chain Manager for our client in Pre Engineered Steel Buildings and Hot Rolled Steel Structures industry based in United Arab Emirates. This role will be the Head of Supply Chain who will be responsible to strategize cost-effective deals, find out suppliers and discover the best ways to cut procurement expenses.Mandatory Requirements:- Degree in Engineering, International Trade or Business Administration.- 10-15 years international procurement and global sourcing experience across Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB) and Metal Fabrication industry.- Proven success in cost reduction- Strong leadership capabilitiesJob Responsibilities:- Devising and using fruitful procurement and sourcing strategies for the Company?s global purchasing functions- Discovering profitable suppliers and initiate procurement partnerships- Negotiating with external vendors to secure advantageous terms- Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness- Foresee alterations in the comparative negotiating ability of suppliers and clients- Expect unfavorable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategies- Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements- Control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs- Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company- Accountable for the total annual expenditure for companys world wide purchases- Monitoring & forecasting procurement practices- Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers- Strong experience in collecting and analyzing data- Implement cost management systems on a global scale for the Companys overseas offices.
