Senior Quantity Surveyor ? Construction - Mechanical, MEPSharjah, UAEUp to 30,000 AED per month all-inContract up to July 2021The Project? A high specification Energy & Utilities project under construction in Sharjah.? This position is working for the main contractor.The Responsibilities? Report to the Subcontracts Manager and based on site, which works 6 x 10 hour days.? Assist with cost planning and estimating, cash flow and forecasting, claims and dispute resolution during post contract stage and post contract stage.? Measure value of works done on site by subcontractors, challenge and track changes and provide input to budget projections accordingly.? Support construction manager in review of subcontractors? monthly payment/progress claims to maximise contractor?s cash flow.? Identify, analyse and report commercial risks.? Support preparation, quantification and review of claims (EOT and cost, Variations).? Work in conjunction with site engineers to solve project design issues affecting site works with minimum impact on subcontracts.SkillsQualifications and experience? Bachelor degree in Quantity Surveying? MRICS professional qualification? Minimum 8 years post qualification experience in engineering and site works with relevant exposure to claims (EOT, cost and variations)?
