VM Department Manager - Tryano - RiyadhJob Summary:The job holder of this position is responsible for the overall store presentation, as well as the design and creation of all windows and in store concepts, ensuring high quality visual merchandising standards throughout, based on Group Creative and equity guidelines. The job holder is also responsible for the management, training and developing of the department store VM team.Key Responsibilities:Strategical:Develop the business plan of the Visual Merchandising Department in line with the Division objectives and strategic objectives of ChalhoubFormulate and communicate VM Department performance objectives and continuously monitor progress and alignment towards strategic objectivesManagerial:Develop the Department policies and procedures in order to ensure the fulfillment of organizational requirementsOversee the operations of the Department, provide expertise, encourage teamwork and facilitate related professional work processes in order to achieve high performance standards and staff pride in contributionNegotiate the yearly budget of the Department and control expenditure to ensure optimal use REQUIREMENTS: Operational:Department Manager - VM VM Strategies Implementation Supplier Management Internal Stakeholders Relations Event Management Budget Management Performance MonitoringGuide, develop and manage the Product Merchandising, Display Design and Display Decoration teamsWork cross functionally with internal and external partners to ensure creative and commercial visual merchandising strategies are implemented to the highest standardsManage the design and develop all window and in store animations ensuring sign off with all approving partiesInput into the creation of the marketing calendar to develop a 360-brand approach at all levelsLead from a VM perspective the collaborate with the Buyers, Brand Marketing and in-store management to align on seasonal timings & executions to deliver a premium retail experience to the consumerApprove all suppliers and develop strong working relationshipsEnsure the timely installations of all animations, events and campaigns in line with the marketing and event calendar Liaise with all teams (Commercial, Retail, Brand and Communication) and filter, decode and reassemble information that is needed to create commercial VM displays for brands and/or store. Ensure effective communication to all team membersManage and coach the team to create a full report on concept designs (pictures and comments) to be provided once the event is achievedChampion strong partnership with all internal teamsWork in close collaboration with Group Creative on equity guidelinesParticipate in relevant projects and community activities as and when neededTeam Management:Assign individual objectives for employee performance management purposes, manage performance, empower staff, and provide formal and informal feedback in order to support professional development and maximize performance
