SUMMARYThe Systems Analyst will be responsible for managing the organization?s current software systems to meet customer, organizational, and other requirements. The system analyst will also be responsible for planning and suggesting changes to the existing programs, systems of the organization in order to help the organization to operate more efficiently and effectively.The system analyst will bring business and IT together by understanding needs, capabilities, and limitations.The candidates with ERP certification and know-how of Manufacturing processes shall be preferred.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES?Consult with business Managers to determine how best to meet customers ? and the organizations ? requirements.?Lead a team of software designers, software testers, and technical writers; demonstrate leadership qualities.?Design and develop system and program requirements; develop and communicate overall design approach.?Determine how existing systems might meet emerging requirements.?Create software test plans, test scenarios, and test cases.?Review design changes, update program/system requirements as needed.?Explain programs and systems to technical writers, for development of technical and/or end-user documentation.?Stay informed of emerging technologies; determine how they might be useful to the organization.?Reports directly to the IT Manager; works with business managers and technical staff to facilitate software development.QUALIFICATIONS? MBA (information management) is preferred.? A bachelor?s degree in computer science/IT is mandatory.EXPERIENCE? 5+ years of experience in software development, programming out of which 3+ years? experience in managing software developers is required.? Must have demonstrated ability to lead a diverse team of developers.? Prior project management experience is preferred.? Experience with UML (Rational) is preferred.
