Employment: Full Time Job Duration: Permanent Employment As part of Faithful+Goulds regional growth plans, we are currently looking to recruit a Sustainability & Environment Engineer to join the Project and Programme Delivery Team in KSA.The Sustainability & Environment Engineer is a site-based position and a member of the Faithful+Gould Sustainability Team, Middle East.Responsibilities:- The successful candidate will report to the Head of Sustainability and will be responsible for contributing to the review of the strategies, methodologies and deliverables prepared by those organisations appointed to help develop masterplans and designs as well as to oversee the construction of all buildings, public realm and infrastructure for the project.- The Sustainability & Environment Engineer will also carry out audits on those organisations appointed to work on the project to assess the effectiveness of the systems and procedures implemented to deliver the sustainability objectives and targets established for the project.- Manage the process of LEED certification for several projects at different design stages simultaneously Develop an efficient way of facilitating the delivery of third party sustainability rating system scopes on project.- Should have excellent knowledge of the LEED Online platform and can support design teams in populating the requirements .- Have a clear understanding of sustainability rating tools requirements, and have the ability to be able to communicate and disseminate this information to the relevant teams effectively and efficiently.- Ensure the evidence provided are in compliance with LEED credit requirements- Support the development of energy models using IES to present daylight analyses, thermal comfort and energy requirements of new and existing developments for LEED compliance- Should have excellent reporting skills conveying the required actions across in a clear manner REQUIREMENTS: REQUIREMENTS:- Degree qualified in Environmental Engineering or equivalent.- 10+ years experience in a similar role.- Have the skills to manage over a dozen LEED projects in a well-organized manner, and supporting on the energy modelling ensure an efficient and smooth delivery service- Chartered / Professional in Environment, Energy or Engineering LEED Accredited Professional under the Building Design and Construction scheme.- Experience in LEED 2009 and LEED v4.- Ideally the candidate should have working knowledge of LEED Operations and Maintenance and Neighbourhood Development schemes.- Have previous experience in private international consultants .- Excellent communication skills .- Have previous experience of working on large mixed-use developments in Middle East, preferably KSARewards & BenefitsWe offer an excellent package which includes:- A competitive salary- Transportation allowance- Medical and life insurance cover- 22 calendar days annual leave- Medical and life insurance cover- Company gratuity scheme- Discretionary bonus scheme- Annual flight allowance to point of origin- Employee Well-Being Programme - 24 hour free advice on financial, legal and family care specialists and also access to personal health, fitness and nutrition consultantsSNC Lavalins Faithful+Gould business is one of the worlds leading integrated project and programme management consultancies, with over 2,400 professionals operating worldwide.Our aim is to protect and maximize our clients interests throughout the planning and delivery of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, on budget.
