Stations Design Lead

Employment: Full Time Job Duration: Permanent Employment Reporting into the Project Director, this role is responsible lead the design deliverables for the rail stations.Client DetailsOur client is one the leading projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia that is designed and developed in line with 2030 VisionDescriptionThis role acts as the interface between stations and urban context planning.Key responsibilities include:* The approval of design from concept to IFC.* Managing the RFI process in timely schedule.* Ensuring consultants are progressing design as per the schedule and have sufficient information ahead of requirement.* Directs and oversees a team of consultants, designers and drafters in 2D & 3D design platforms.* Monitors the bid or proposal process for design to ensure organizational goals are met.* Liaising with other teams including statutory approval design requirements.* Assists in evaluation of Contractors Proposals, ensuring they are complete and unambiguous.* Ensure the design has been reviewed on all projects with respect to mitigating Health and Safety, design and buildability issues prior to construction and ensure that hazards are noted on relevant drawings at each stage of their production.* With all relevant parties, input into a realistic design programme and information required schedule to satisfy design, procurement and construction requirements.* Assist the Risk manager and delivery teams with identifying Risks and completing the Risk Register, where necessary assist with the resolution of these risks.* Advise on environmental/LEED Code / Renewable + general research issues.* Promote prefabrication and modularization designJob OfferAn attractive package with benefits REQUIREMENTS: Technical experience in design/design management of:* Station planning* Pedestrian modelling* Station urban context planning* Control buildings architecture /planning* Station architecture (including branding/finishes)* Building structures/* Safety and security* Fire & Life Safety planning* Knowledgeable about principles of design, construction, engineering and building regulations.* Bachelors Degree in architecture or engineering* Minimum 15 years of experience
