Senior Finance Manager

Job Description

ResponsibilitiesProvide commercial support and assistance to the GM in sales contractsPrepare / review the management accounts for the laboratory / businessUploading of monthly financials / budgets / forecasts to group consolidation systemPrepare budgets and forecasts in consultation with the GM and management team and assistance from shared services teamAnalyse business performance against key business metrics and document pertinent financial highlights that enable management to track progress against budgets and also improve financial performanceWork closely with the GM in the day to day performance management of the laboratoryOperate as a member of the management team of the laboratory / businessManage and conclude all statutory obligations from an accounting point of view (e.g. year-end statutory audit)Manage the direct and indirect taxation of the laboratory / businessManage the credit control function of the laboratory using a team of credit controllersEnsure controls are in place in the accounting for processed samples and samples in process and advise on the usage and improvement of LIMs systemsWork with the shared services team for continuous improvement in the processing of transactions and meeting deadlines in group reporting obligations and monthly and year end accountsIdentify, investigate and analyse potential operational improvement as appropriate, based on findings make proposal for operational changes (policy, procedures, processes etc.)Work closely with the shared services team to ensure completeness and accuracy of accountsEvaluate capex proposals commercially and advise the local managementCarry out adhoc projects as delegated from time to time REQUIREMENTS: Personal attributesA career accounting / finance professional with 10 year relevant experience out of which the last 3 is in a managerial capacity within an MNCA graduate in accounting and CA or CPA or ICWA desirableExperience working on Navision / relatedFocus on personal and continuous learningArabic speaker currently in KSA with transferable visa preferred.
