Employment: Full Time Based in Jeddah, this role will report directly to the Chief City Officer and is responsible to set up and lead the Centralized Planning Unit for the entity.Additionally, the role is responsible for shaping planning visions and strategies.Client DetailsOur client is a prestigious entity contributing significantly to the Saudi 2030 Vision goals and objectives.Description* Develop the Urban planning standards and policies* Ensure fair & effective administration and enforcement of Urban Planning codes, policies & regulations* Develop the areas master plan and transportation plan* Ensure the implementation of the urban plans* Manage all GIS data related activities including update, maintenance and migration* Conduct research and studies on drivers of urban development* Formulate building code guidelines* Monitor and follow up the implementation of the Building Code* Develop socio-economic plansJob OfferAn attractive package with benefits REQUIREMENTS: * Over 15 years experience leading planning functions.* Strong exposure to developing planning codes, development control, urban planning, urban governance, sustainable development, and capacity building* Understanding of the political landscape of the Middle East is a plus* Degree Qualified, MBA preferred* Must be a Saudi National candidate due to Saudiazation
