Employment: Contract Role and responsibilities:Implement and monitor security measures for the protection of computer systems networks and information.Identify and define system security requirementsDesign computer security architectureCreate and maintain security policiesPrepare and document standard operating procedures and protocolsConfigure and troubleshoot security infrastructure devicesConducting Penetration Testing Risk assessment and incident response servicesDevelop technical solutions and new security tools to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repeatableSystem administration and analytics for network security related systems REQUIREMENTS: First-level support for network security systemsDistributing and loading updates to intrusion detection systems (IDSs), firewalls, data loss prevention systems, and other network security systemsAnalyzing security notices issued by information systemAnalyzing and implementing new security protocols and technologiesModifying regulatory systems within IT securityMaintaining the integrity of hardware and softwareInvestigating security breech alertsDevelop authentication and authorization protocolsMonitoring systems for security incidents or breaches, and reporting security gaps through audits of the networkSolve existing security issues, such as viruses or hardware malfunctionMaintaining virtual private networks, firewalls, email security and web protocols, security and programsCreating virus detection systemsSupervising the installation of new software and hardwareRoll-out of system updates and patches to strengthen network securityOccasionally replacing system architectureMaintaining servers and switches
