Job Description

Audits compliance with Saudi Aramco loss prevention requirements to minimize losses to Saudi Aramco, the public and the contractor.Prepares and implements an effective loss control program and safety program including corrective action procedures.Continuous inspection of project sites, to ensure a hazard-free environmentAssessment and approval of subcontractor safety plansVerification of tools and equipment to ensure good qualityPromoting safe practices on siteCreating and enforcing safety guidelines and programsCarrying out drills and exercises on managing emergency situationsConducting investigations on accidentsResponding to workers safety concernsManages all communications with all stakeholdersArranges OSHA-mandated evaluations of the siteCoordinates all issues regarding hazardous materials or wasteAssisting with the preparation of a construction health and safety planAttending project planning meetings and collaborating with construction managersEstablishing and maintaining health and safety communication structuresTesting the effectiveness of site emergency response plansContinuous monitoring of all safety-related documents, reports, and issues to keep them updated. REQUIREMENTS: Qualifications and Skills Required to Execute the RoleBachelors degree in engineering or similar safety degreeMember of a recognized professional safety society such as the institute of industrial safety officers is desirableMust have a thorough knowledge of international safety standards and procedures.Knowledge of construction supervision services Excellent planning and organizational skillsGood analytical and problem-solving skillsGood time management skillsGood team player, Self-confident, motivated, and independent individualGood communication and presentation skillsProficiency in spoken and written EnglishExperience Required to Execute the RoleAt least 15 years of experience (10+ years for Saudi Nationals) with demonstrated experience in multi-million dollar Buildings Projects in a contracting company or a construction supervision functionPrevious Saudi Aramco experience is preferredExperience within the Middle East
