PROJECT DIRECTOROur client has recently been awarded an estimated $392m contract to build the Head Quarter Offices for RCU in Al Ula. The 29-month contract involves the construction of a multipurpose complex consisting of three separate buildings of G+3+R floors, connected by external pedestrian walkway bridges and a 2-level common basement, in addition to external and landscape works.The complex comprises a total built-up area of about 116,711 square meters (sq m) consisting of the RCU headquarters building, Housing Offices, a Meeting and Event Center, a Fitness Center, a Helipad, and other Support Areas such as a Daycare facility, a Clinic, an RCU academy, Retail, and F&B.PurposeDirect major projects to ensure that construction meets all contractual requirements in the most efficient and cost-effective manner. Interface with Clients and Partners to have smooth site operation.Experience/Qualifications RequiredBSc EngineeringAt least 20 years? experience in the engineering field, involving in depth knowledge of several engineering disciplinesProven track record of Project ManagementWork experience covering both site and office workNatural decision makerManagerial and leadership skillsExcellent Presentation & Negotiating skillsBe fluent in spoken and written English (preference will be given to native English speakers)Experience in Middle EastResponsibilitiesOverview all project activities.Actively participate on implementation issues within the Project?s Senior Management Team.Prepare and conduct presentations to Clients and potential Clients.Develop Client?s focused environment within the organization with emphasis on theCompany?s value for Clients.Resolve conflicts that may arise with Clients and establish strong relations with them for the purpose of business growth in the interest of the Company.Establish at an early stage and manage a Project Core Team that can interact with the Client and conduct constructability reviews as required by the project.Direct the review and assess the integrity, frequency, and value of all reporting, establishing revised systems where necessary to ensure that Project Management has the necessary up to date information to effectively manage the project to meet its objectives, providing any required reporting to Managing Office.
