Job Description

We are seeking to recruit on behalf of our client a PLANT MANAGER (Industrial Factory) who will be based in SAUDI ARABIA on a long-term residential contract.PurposeProduction planning & control of all Plant Production activities in accordance with the Company?s goals / requirements.On time production of PEB building components as per the required Quality standardsExperience/Qualifications RequiredBachelor?s degree in mechanical / Industrial production Engineering.3 - 5 Years working experience as a Production in charge in a reputed PEB manufacturing / a reputed heavy fabrication industryConversant with Engineering drawings, Good technical Skills relevant to PEB / structural fabrication.Knowledge of Computers like MS office & AutoCAD is preferable.Well conversant with all concerned Engineering processes / procedures especially welding processes like FCAW, SMAW, SAW.Well conversant with Production Tools, jigs and fixtures and measurement instruments.Working exp in SAP Environment is advantageous.Operating knowledge of all latest Computer packages is preferable.Working exposure with ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001 are preferable.Good command on languages Hindi, English, Arabic is preferable.Duties/ResponsibilitiesResponsible for overall Plant production & Administrative Control of all plant employees working in all shifts.Ensure that Safety, Discipline, and punctuality is adhered to by all Plant employees.Co-ordinate with PMG, Planning, and PPC for production schedule / release/ line load for month-on-month Production targets in line with the Company?s Annual production /shipment target/budget.Review, expedite, monitor & control the production status of projects.Receive the Weekly/Monthly production Schedule & job priorities from Planning/ Project Management Group.Communicate the production plan to the concerned Plant staff through a weekly production plan for on time execution. Drive the production with respect to the Shipment plan.Initiate / participate in the weekly / need based meetings with Planning / PMG / Engineering / QC for sorting issues on production, quality and on time deliveries.Intervene, support & co-ordinate with all concerned departments to sort out any kind of bottlenecks hampering production.Lead & drive, the Operational Excellence, 5S projects & other process improvement initiatives in the plant.Co-ordinate / assist maintenance on any production line layout revisions, critical preventive maintenance issues, machine downtime, consumable cost, Personal protective equipment.Liaison with HR for all issues related to personnel on account of health, wages, leave salaries, termination, recruitment etc.Co-ordinate with SAP power users & SAP core team for any functional issues on SAP / administrative disciplines to ensure maximum utilization of ERP.Formulate KPIs, review & monitor performances of all plant superintendents and production engineers in accordance with the set targets on Safety, Production & Quality standards.Monitor the progress of jobs in accordance with the dates as committed.Report & seek support from the Senior Manufacturing Manger on issues needing his intervention.Adhere, to all safety rules and practices of the Co.Support the production engineers to conduct Toolbox meetings at the start of each shift in the respective areas.
