This 76-story hotel, one of the worlds tallest, is the focal point of the Abraj Al Bait Complex, part of the King Abdul Aziz Endowment Project. The Hotel authentic hospitality is seen throughout 858 rooms.Summary of Responsibilities:Reporting to the Assistant Outlet Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging serviceSupervise the F&B Outlet team in all aspects of the department and ensure service standards are followedMaximize revenues by upselling and following budget guidelinesHandle guest concerns, reacting quickly and professionallyBalance operational and Colleague needsHave full knowledge of all menus and promotionsEnsure Colleagues have full knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods being served in the Food & Beverage OutletFollow outlet policies, procedures and service standardsFollow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverageOther duties as assigned REQUIREMENTS: Qualifications:Previous Food and Beverage leadership experience preferredPrevious Point of Sale system experience requiredComputer literate in Microsoft Window applications requiredUniversity/College degree in a related discipline preferredExcellent communication and organizational skillsStrong interpersonal and problem solving abilitiesHighly responsible & reliableAbility to work well under pressure in a fast paced environmentAbility to work cohesively as part of a teamAbility to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all timesPhysical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):Constant standing and walking throughout shiftFrequent lifting and carrying up to 25 lbsFrequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, liftingOccasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
