Employment: Full Time The Network Design Director will oversee and manage the network design activities at the company to ensure network scalability, availability, security and manageability; and the best utilization of current and future networks.Client DetailsKey player in the Telecom SectorDescriptionParticipate in relevant to network design, implementation and optimization planning, RfP writing and third-party negotiations to ensure that third party providers understand the companys requirementsDirect the formulation of company network design guidelines and standards to ensure applying best practice and abiding by international and local standardsKeep abreast of emerging trends and requirements of network standards and drive applying relevant and suitable to the companies practice as appropriateOversee the translation of customer and commercial requirements into network specifications and design; monitor the companys efforts to increase network utilization and leverage of available assetsEnsure that network electromechanical and civil design is appropriate to the sites specifications such as geography, required capacity and topographyOversee the design of new projects and critical solutions to ensure attentiveness to the unique requirements and specifications of the project / solutionDirect, ensure and review the design and implementation of handover policies, processes and procedures and liaise with relevant stakeholders to streamline the handoverReview consolidate design status reports and information to ensure quality and resilience of design; and the scalability, availability, security and manageability of itParticipate in the development of the strategy and operational objectives and oversee the cascading of the overall strategy to the relevant functional areaEngage in financial budgeting and projection and; and monitor actual performance throughout the financial cycleOversee the performance of line management to ensure the strategy and objectives are applied and metJob OfferAttractive package REQUIREMENTS: BA in Telecommunication Engineering or equivalent10 years of experience in relevant fields2 years of managerial rolesNetwork design and streamline, Analytical skills, Network infrastructure, civil, mechanical and electrical specifications and requirements
