Material EngineerJob Location: JubailRequirements :? BS in Material Engineering graduate or equivalent? 8 years experience in chemical or petrochemical industry in planning function? Competent in computer operation & good command in English of both oral and written communicationsResponsibilities :?Receives material requests through SAP from Planning Engineers Maintenance Supervisor/ Section Heads (Mech. /Elec./Inst.) for urgent and normal purchases. Also, investigate the Warehouse stock items for zero stock on Monthly basis.?Prepares weekly work plan in advance with two weeks look ahead schedule.?Verifies for on-time delivery of all urgent items. Extends effort to expedite for timely delivery of items highly required for the plants.?Monitors the Shutdown works in the Plant during Turnarounds / Plant upsets in coordination with Maintenance Supervisors/ Section Heads. Ensures that material and consumables supply are sufficient to complete the job.?Provide support to warehouse for inventory optimization plan.?Review and analyze in consultation with the End users concerning the inventory level, identification of the obsolete and duplicate items, and employ resolution as per standard procedure.
