We are seeking to recruit on behalf of our client an experienced MAINTENACE ENGINEER (MANUFACTURING) to join our client Mechanical Services Shops Department which has state-of-the-art workshops and facilities that are driven by our most valuable asset, which is the department?s skilled and experienced workforce. Its primary responsibility is to maintain Organisation?s rotating and stationary equipment. The department plays a vital role in the company as it provides support to all field organizations by maintaining and repairing corporate equipment.The position is based Saudi Arabia on a long-term residential contract on married or single status.Experience/Qualifications RequiredBachelor?s degree in mechanical engineeringMinimum of 20 years in Manufacturing field.Experience in the mechanical design and manufacturing of major rotating equipment such as gas compressors, steam turbine, pump, diesel engine and gearbox.Experience on rotating equipment with original equipment manufacturing facility or equivalent certified repairing facilityExcellent English reading and writingMust have excellent experience in understanding and reviewing manufacturing drawings of spare parts used in rotating equipment industry.Must have experience in CNC 5-Axis machining and cutting tools including relevant programming CAD and CAM applications i.e. NX and Solid works etc.Must have experience in reverse engineering field is highly preferable.Must have the ability to train and develop other young engineers.Duties & ResponsibilitiesProvide technical supports to spare parts manufacturing of rotating equipment including process selection, manufacturing plans and CAM programming.Provide technical consultation to Shops Operating Repair Units and Contractor Shops.Support field installation, maintenance, and repair of rotating equipment.Troubleshoot, repair, modify existing equipment and Identify cost reductions & process improvements.Ability to prepare design engineering packages of rotating equipment.Preform technical investigation for shop repair return jobs to identify root cause of failure, corrective repair actions and lesson learned.Introduce the latest technology in manufacturing methodology.Develop and revise department?s technical procedures and standards.Provide coaching and knowledge sharing to junior engineers, quality inspectors and technicians.Provide technical input for purchasing specifications including technical proposal evaluation.Liaise with Department engineers, Consulting Services Department (CSD), other Saudi Aramco Departments and manufacturers.Liaise with In-House Repair Units, Quality Assurance units, In-Kingdom Contractors, and vendor & manufacture in developing, evaluation, and implementing shop repair work scopes.Participate in vendor and customer exchange meetings.
