We are seeking to recruit on behalf of our client a LOGISTICS MANAGER, who will be based either in GREECE or SAUDI ARABIA, on a long-term residential contract.Role summary:In this role, you will be responsible for leading team to execute complete international transportation packages of materials and/or equipment until final delivery for various projects.Duties and Responsibilities:Plan, lead, organize and control delivery of material, equipment, parts etc. from vendor?s origin to project sites by deploying most efficient transportation mode (land, sea, or air), and by utilizing established frame agreements with Service providers at the balance of safety, cost, and time.Develop logistical plans at the beginning of the Project and develop logistic contingency plans when necessary for existing operations.Provide effective interface between Regional Logistics Team and appointed service provider to ensure all expected logistics deliverables are achieved.Provide effective shipment visibility and traceability at all times during project execution.Provide to the service provider in charge of shipment (forwarding agent, carrier, etc.) all instructions and documents required for a successful execution.Administer and retain transport/shipping and other statutory documentation i.e., custom forms, exemptions, approval etc. to meet audit and legal requirements.Job Requirements:BSc degree in Shipping, Logistics, or relevant fieldMinimum ten (10) years? experience in Logistics and transport operations preferably in project cargo, freight forwarding or shipping company.Very good knowledge of international transport processes, Custom regulations, and proceduresPrevious experience dealing with project cargo, breakbulk and containerized cargo.Good knowledge and previous experience in Marine Chartering with direct exposure in Charter Party negotiation, is highly welcomed.Good working knowledge of Incoterms 2010/2020High mobility and willingness to travel around to international project locations.Fluency in English
