Employment: Full Time Great opportunity to experience another culture, gain valuable experience and be part of a large multi-cultural teamPOSITION: HousemanSTART DATE: January 2021PACKAGE: Competitive tax free salary and leave offered with accommodation, all meals, flight allowance and full medical insurance.12 MONTH RENEWABLE CONTRACTTo ensure the property is maintained to the highest levels of cleanliness and organization whilst ensuring family and their guests are provided with the highest levels of service, efficiency and care.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:Work safely with ChemicalsBasic Housekeeping equipment and Housekeeping machinery knowledgeKnows all cleaning Techniques:-Sweeping-Mopping-Vacuuming -Dusting-BrushingKnowledge of different surfaces:-Gold Leaf-Metal-Glass-Stainless Steel-WoodCan work in high and very high areasKnows the right chemical to use on different surfacesKnows how to use all cleaning tools (Including Machinery) Knows how to setup and shutdown an areaUse colour coded rags and the right equipmentPrepares, maintains, protects and shutdown a roomIdentifying and reporting Maintenance IssuesLocker CleaningExtra Cleaning off seasonMarble stripping and protection Cleaning of walls, ceilings (high work)Cleaning of hinges and thresholdsCleaning of door sealsCleaning of windows and window framesCleaning of staff corridorsCleaning of Vents Cleaning of Fly ScreensCleaning and maintenance Golf CarsHelping with the cleaning and maintaining of the Garbage roomRemoving garbage from Garbage room to skip Waste ManagementKeeping all machines clean REQUIREMENTS: SKILLS & ABILITIESMinimum of 2 years certificate of housekeeping experience is essentialWillingness to learnAsks questions when instructions are not clearResponds appropriately to instructionsFollows guidelinesGood command of English fluentCan work as part of a teamGood team playerAssists when and where neededTurn up to work on time, in uniform and presents wellConfidentiality in all areasFlexible with working overtime at special occasionsAdapt easily to last minute changesMale candidates due to accommodation arrangementsNo visible tattoos/non smokerWe thank you in advance for your interest in this position.
