We invite you to bring your passion for physical activity to our Health Club facility as a Fitness Instructor and share your enthusiasm with our members and guests in support of a healthy lifestyle!Hotel Overview:Located just north of the city, Fairmont Riyadh will be part of a new mixed-use development project comprising the hotel, a convention center and commercial real estate space that will house multinational corporations as well as regional companies. The hotel will feature 298 spacious guestrooms, including Fairmont Gold. Guests will enjoy a selection of dining venues as well as spa and fitness facilities. The convention center comprises 4,000 square meters of meeting and function space.Summary of Responsibilities:Reporting to the Health Club Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging serviceSupervise and ensure all fitness services, protocols and procedures are followedEnsure the cleanliness of the fitness area including all equipmentEnsure the smooth operation of all equipment through periodic service checks and reporting work orders promptlyPlan and conduct fitness exercise sessions, personal training sessions, group training experiences, and in-service education sessionsMaintain thorough knowledge of all strength and cardio equipment and their programs as well as the proper use, alignment and safetyMaintain professional certifications while continually pursuing a greater degree of knowledge and expertiseProvide a high level of guest satisfaction through effective communicationAssist in the recruitment, development and training of all fitness staffEnsure proper staffing and scheduling in accordance to productivity guidelinesBalance operational, administrative and Colleague needsFollow departmental policies and proceduresFollow all safety and sanitation policiesOther duties as assigned REQUIREMENTS: Qualifications:Previous experience as a Fitness Instructor requiredCertification in CPR and First Aid requiredCertification in a Fitness related discipline requiredComputer literate in Microsoft Window applications preferredExcellent communication and organizational skillsStrong interpersonal and problem solving abilitiesHighly responsible & reliableAbility to work cohesively as part of a teamAbility to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all timesPrevious experience as a Fitness Instructor requiredPhysical Aspects of Position (includes but are not limited to):Frequent standing and walking throughout shiftOccasional lifting and carrying up to 30 lbsFrequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, sittingOccasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and rampsVisa REQUIREMENTS:Eligible candidate will be provided visa to have work permit required as per the local lawApply Today: Whether youre launching your career or seeking meaningful employment.About Fairmont Hotels & ResortsAt Fairmont Hotels & Resorts we offer our guests the finest hospitality experience in each of our destinations.
