You will be required to perform the following:Provide day-to-day technical support to operations and maintenance to troubleshoot Electrical system related issues.Develop, evaluate and review Electrical system engineering design for reliability enhancements and required modifications/upgrades.Lead Electrical system failures and trips investigation and produce the associated reports.Develop and maintain the reliability reports for Electrical systems.Review the equipment historical data and conduct obsolescence and retrofitting studies.Develop and review Electrical system design packages.The organization handles Medium voltage, all Low Voltage and DC Electrical systems related issues associated with gas producing facilities including Gas Compression Plants.The engineer is expected to lead, monitor the efforts in troubleshooting and investigations and determining the root causes of failures for several types of Electrical system related equipment such as MV and LV Switchgears and MCCs, LV Transformer, DC system component, power panels, field LV loads and etc. In addition, the engineer is expected to have full knowledge and experience in analyzing, surveying and reporting organization?s Electrical systems.
