Job Description

Employment: Full Time Job Duration: Permanent Employment Role Summary:-Responsible for providing both functional and administrative EHS support to GEHC S/S Saudi and ME regions on the implementation and maintenance of all day-to-day EHS aspects .Essential Responsibilities:-Coordination of EHS training activities within Saudi and ME through conducting Training Needs Analysis, leading the deployment of the training plans and liaising with all concerned stakeholders to ensure rigor of training completion .-Assists with new employee EHS orientation program in Saudi and ME S/S-Monitor and lead reporting the overall EHS performance for Saudi and ME sites , and identify / implement necessary corrective actions at Saudi and ME sites whenever it is needed in coordination with Operational teams and other stakeholders .-Coordinate incident / concern reporting activities within Saudi and ME S/S and participate in the investigation process as well as support execution the required corrective actions.-Coordinating EHS regulatory compliance activities within Saudi and ME S/S and participate in frequent reviews as well as execution of relevant compliance calendar tasks. Works with Saudi & ME EHS Manager & Operational leaders for Key EHS Culture promotion of EHS and communication of EHS awareness activities through available media.-Implement and coordinate Contractors Safety program within Saudi and ME S/S sites-Assist high rigor the implementation of all Risk Reduction Activities and programs including but not limited to ; Safety Risk Assessment, Emergency Preparation, Chemical Management, Management of change , PPE, Ergonomic , Medical Surveillance, Preventive Maintenance , Field Inspections..etc-Coordinate effective implementation and continual improvement of field EHS activities within Saudi and ME sites and effectively participate to field visit program within the region-Coordinate both internal & External auditing activities. This is additional to provide EHS technical expertise to assist attainment OSHA VPP , OHSAH18001 , ISO 45001 or equivalent EHS/Quality certifications.-Support high level compliance of EHS Management Systems through taking the ownership of implementing EHS Framework Elements and assist other element owners to execute improvement actions associated with their elements in Saudi and ME GEHC S/S.-Coordinate EHS Aspect at GE Healthcare leased facilities in Saudi Arabia REQUIREMENTS: Qualifications/REQUIREMENTS:-A university degree in Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent.-Completion of recognized EHS professional certifications such as OSHA , NEBOSH or equivalent -1 year experience in EHS or Healthcare industry.-Excellent understanding to EHS management systems and regulations -Effective time management and organizational skills; able to balance multiple priorities & tasks -Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills including strong training Skills-Effectively problem solve and resolve a variety of issues and topics within the job scope-Team player with strong interpersonal skills, capable of working within a regional diverse team-flexibility of traveling across Saudi Arabia or within Middle East RegionPreferred Qualifications-A university degree in Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent with 1 year experience in EHS or Healthcare industry-Ability to exercise independent judgment consistent with department guidelines. -Eager to learn , Self-Starter, Responsive , proactive , able to maintain confidentiality and handle matters discreetly -Ability to quickly identify and prioritize issues, create solutions and meet deadlines.-Team player with strong interpersonal skills, capable of working within a regionally diverse team.About UsGE (NYSE:GE) drives the world forward by tackling its biggest challenges.
