DTS Credit Analyst -Analysing financial statements: They review and analyse financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements to evaluate the financial health and creditworthiness of a lender. They use financial ratios and metrics to assess the borrowers liquid assets, solvency, financial gain and debt-to-equity ratio.Evaluating creditworthiness: Duties involve determining a lenders creditworthiness by analysing credit reports, payment records and other factors that influence their capacity to repay loans. They may also include checking the borrowers employment history, income and collateral.Conducting industry research: This includes investigating the industry or market in which the lender operates to identify potential risks and trends that may affect their creditworthiness. Analysts examine market trends, economic indicators and regulatory changes that may impact the borrowers ability to make loan repayments.Preparing reports: They create reports using charts, graphs and other visual aids to help their clients comprehend the analysis. The information generally includes a summary of the analysis and recommendations to lenders and creditors.Monitoring loan performance: They regularly monitor the debtors loan performance by reviewing financial statements, credit reports and other documents to verify compliance with the loan agreement terms.
