Job Description

Outline Cathodic protection basic components and principles. Describe differences between sacrificial and impressed current CP systems. List Saudi Aramco Engineering X-series Standards, procedures, best practices and international standards. Participate in CP field surveys.Select the appropriate Cathodic protection (CP) system for specific facilitiesunder supervision. Participate in evaluating effectiveness of existing CP systems for corrosion control. List the available testing and monitoring methodologies and industry codes. Analyze CP monitoring data under supervision. Participate in basic CP design and troubleshooting under supervision.Review, analyze and troubleshoot Cathodic protection systems. Interface with NACE CP Specialists for system design. Participate in the commissioning of new CP systems, remote monitoring systems. Review design packages. Establish KPIs and monitor performance of the CP system.identify Saudi Aramco coating standards (H-series) and relevant material specifications. Identify the components of coating systems.
