This 76-story hotel, one of the worlds tallest, is the focal point of the Abraj Al Bait Complex, part of the King Abdul Aziz Endowment Project. The Hotel authentic hospitality is seen throughout 858 rooms.Summary of Responsibilities:Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging serviceOversee day-to-day work-flow of the Housekeeping office and ensure service standards are followed Perform various duties pertaining to departmental inventory control system: purchase orders, coding invoices etc. Manage all shipping and receiving for Owners, Guests and Colleagues Provide administrative support to all areas of the Housekeeping department Work closely with all departments within the Lodge, communicating day to day updates and changes Address guest concerns and react quickly, logging and notifying proper departments as required Work closely with the Maintenance department to address necessary repairs Balance operational, administrative and Colleague needs Follow department policies, procedures and service standards Follow all safety and sanitation policies Other duties as assigned REQUIREMENTS: Qualifications:Proficient in English (verbal & written) requiredBachelors degree from an accredited university preferredExperience with Hotel Property Management System an assetStrong organizational, supervisory and communication skillsAbility to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accuratelyAbility to work successfully in high stress and fast paced situationsEffective problem solving abilitiesMust be able to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow-through, courtesy, cooperation and perform successfully with limited supervisionPhysical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):Frequent constant sittingFrequent standing and walking throughout shiftOccasional lifting and carrying up to 30lbsOccasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, liftingOccasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and rampsVisa REQUIREMENTS: Candidate selection will be based on visa availability at Makkah Clock Royal Tower, A Fairmont Hotel.
