This is your chance to make history.The Role:The Continuous Improvements Manager supports, coordinates and facilitates implementation of new and improved structures, processes and activities. Working closely with MENA teams and all levels of management within the Fulfillment Center (FC), you report directly to the Regional Continuous Improvement Manager.For this role you will need to be adaptable, challenge motivated and thrive on implementing high standard productivity and simplicity using Kaizen/PDCA methods. Curiosity and the confidence to take calculated risks quickly are core characteristics for Continuous Improvements Managers.Responsibilities:Manage the Fulfillment Centre improvement plan to focus on best customer experience at the lowest costDevelop a culture of continuous improvement and lean thinkingContribute to and facilitate Kaizen activitiesHelp drive the implementation of Lean Standard WorkTrain and support all levels in Kaizen activitiesDisseminate Lean Standard Work principles across teamsSupport and manage the Fulfillment Centre implementation AgendaTake ownership for the LSC (Leadership Steering Committee)Coordinate and prioritise LSC process improvement activities and resourcesLead daily GEMBA activities, going to the source of the problem, working with tenacity to rapidly solve associate identified barriersStandardize processes to Amazon and ECCF benchmark standardsLiaise between FC and MENA/ECCF to drive leverage of cross-FC process excellenceMaintain strong relationships with MENA/ECCF Process Owners and FC Process Engineer REQUIREMENTS: Basic Qualifications:In addition to having shop-floor affinity and experience in Industrial Engineering, Business Process Engineering, Quality, Operations or Logistics, you are an active networker with:Degree level or higherProject Portfolio Management experienceA strong record of team leadership in large-scale, rapid, process-driven environmentsVery strong analytical capabilitiesThe ability to translate operational issues into workable solutionsExcellent communication skills (written and verbal)Fluent EnglishPreferred Qualifications:In-depth knowledge of Lean Six Sigma and its practical usageWide knowledge of change management and continuous improvement methodologiesDemonstrable training and dissemination skills and experience
