Obstetrics and Gynecology (Labor and Delivery, Oncology, Antenatal and Post Partum wards); Oncology, Neonatal ICU, Operating Rooms, Ambulatory Care Center, Home Health Care Program, VIP Wards, Royal Suite, College of Medicine and Nursing College.DescriptionJob Title: Consultant - Cardiac Critical CareResponsible to : Head of Cardiac Critical Care and Chairman, Department of Cardiac SciencesBasic Functions:- He/she participates in the clinical work at a consultant level taking the final responsibility of patient care advising on and resolving clinical and relevant administrative issues.- His/her medical privileges are determined by the Department Chairman, in consultation with the Division Head and recommended to the Executive Director of Medical Services.Principal Duties:- Provide patient care at a consultant level in the Cardiac Intensive Care Units, Cardiac Operating Rooms, and Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory as required and according to their certification/s.- Participate in the on call duties- When required gives advice on manpower, equipment and administrative issues.- Take active part in the teaching and training of fellows, residents and other staff rotating in Cardiac Critical Care, Cardiac Anaesthesia and other related cardiac disciplines- Participate and support the research activities within the Division and Department- Participate in the Quality Improvement activities of the Division and ensure compliance with the high standards of patient care. Participate in the departmental and hospital Ql activities if asked- Adhere to the departmental and hospital policies and procedures- Serve on the departmental and hospital committees and task groups when called upon.
