Employment: Full Time Gulf Connexions have been retained by a leading Engineering Group to recruit for the position of CAD Electrical & Automations Engineer in the Eastern Province, this vital role is urgent.The primary purpose of the CAD Electrical & Automations Engineers role is to design or improve electrical systems in accordance with customer requirements, whilst ensuring full compliance to applicable regularotory and Company Standards as well as local / International standards to allow manufacture and localisation of component supply. The CAD Electrical & Automations Engineers is also required to maintain the companys design / drawing register in accordance with company standardsThe primary accountabilities of the CAD Electrical & Automation engineer are:Compliance with Global and regional company EHS policies and proceduresCompletion of HSI inspections as per planProvide fit for purpose designs that accuratley represent customer / application requirementsProvide designs and drawings that allow cost effective manufactureComplete design revision and drawings in a timely fashion to enable greater localisation of spare partsComplete design, revision control and manufacturing drawings in set time frames to improve customer service levelsLiase with customers via telephone, email and site based visits to address specific customer technical issues and problems in a timely mannerLiase and support site based activities and engineers (Company & Third party subcontractors) REQUIREMENTS: College/University Education: Mechanical Engineering DegreeTraining: Electrical CAD software & AutoCADMin 5 years in Engineering DepartmentAbility to read and interpret:Engineering drawings.Technical specifications.Customer requests / Specifications.Tender and request for quotation packages.Sound CAD Systems knowledge (Electrical CAD software & Autocad).Ability to integrate component models using the company preferred software.Broad Knowledge of Electrical, Automation and Instrumentations components available on the marketIf you match the above criteria then please dont hesitate to apply.
