Job Description

Strategy & Enterprise Risk SpecialistBasic FunctionProvide professional expertise to support the organization in the design and execution of the company strategy by identifying, planning and implementing its long term objectives. The Strategy and Enterprise Risk Specialist provides, advice, support and direction to enable management in reducing enterprise risk, developing a framework to manage undesirable risks and resolve risks gaps. He/she is involved in analyzing internal and external data and produce executive reports to enable management decision making process.ScopeThe Strategy and Enterprise Risk Specialist contributes to the development and implantation of various strategies initiatives and business plans. He/she assists top management in determining and creating risk mitigation plans. He/she is also involved to developing, maintaining and presenting executive reports to enable management on deciding the path that the business or project will take to achieve its strategic goal.Principal ContactsInternal: Daily with Team lead and team members, divisions and departments staff to coordinate activities and develop data. External: contacts with other organizations for reporting requirements if authorized.Principal DutiesPrincipal duties include but not limited to the following:

  1. Provide work direction to his/her team.
  2. Conduct studies on business analysis, productivity and utilization as required.
  3. Identify opportunities to improve the utilization of resources and increase performance.
  4. Prepare charts, graphs, and organize relevant statistics.
  5. Develop, maintain and present executive reports.
  6. Review all reports submitted for approval.
  7. Classify initiative collated across the organization into strategic, tactical or operational.
  8. Oversee the coordination between different project managers and act as a liaison with all stakeholders.
  9. Track initiatives and projects across the organization and audit these to check for compliance to best practices, as well as develop reports and dashboards for executive leadership plan.
  10. Facilitate the implementation of JHAH strategic initiatives by supporting enterprise projects.
  11. Manage other analysts to facilitate identifying collate evaluate and, prioritize risks.
  12. Assist management in managing those risks by highlighting status of mitigation actions.
  13. Assist all level management in managing risks.
Education
  • Bachelor degree in related field (Health, Business Administration, Accounting, Management, Statistics)
  • Masters degree in related field is preferred with focus in leadership and management
Experience
  • Minimum 15 years experience in related activities including 5 years experience in cost control, budgets, or related activity.
  • Supervisory experience is desired
