  • Deliver multi-disciplinary integration studies that facilitate the use of innovative technology and workflows to reduce drilling, completion risks and optimize reservoir production from the geomechanics perspective and other subsurface evaluation domains.
  • Provide technical support internally and externally, as well as mentorship to junior employees, concerning description of in-situ stresses and rock mechanical properties to develop Geomechanical Earth Models for geomechanical solutions on a well, field and basin scale with a strong focus on the delivery of integrated, practical and cost-effective solutions to geomechanical problems.
QualificationsREQUIRED
  • 7+ years relevant experience providing Geomechanics services.
  • BSc. In Engineering or Geoscience
  • Experienced in pore pressure prediction,wellbore stability analysis (WBS) and geomechanical model for sand control prognosisutilizing multiple methodologies for drilling geological models offset petrophysical data-analysis, seismic velocity analysis, and LOT/FIT, MDTs, and RFTs interpretation.
  • Familiar with Real Time Operations, drilling parameters and real time data interpretation and analysis.
  • Knowledge on Sand prediction Analysis
  • Highly motivated with excellent analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work with different groups and understanding how their different inputs can help in providing a comprehensive and composite solution to the client.
  • Ability and willingness to learn thru a structured development program which includes internal and external courses, external certifications and practical on the job training (both office and field).
PREFERRED
  • Experience in 3D geomechanical models
  • Knowledge in WFRD technologies relevant to geomechanics applications
  • Experience in training and competency development of peers and junior employees.
  • Experience on WFRD approved software for subsurface evaluation
