Responsible for designing the optimal completion strategy for each well to determine the most suitable completion techniques, such as open hole, cased hole, or multilateral completions.

Select the appropriate tools, equipment, and materials required for the completion operations. They work closely with clients, suppliers, and peers to ensure timely procurement of completion equipment, such as casing, tubing, packers, valves, and downhole tools, etc.

Create and update technical documentation such as Schematics, Torque and Drag Analysis, Running procedures, technical datasheets, Work order templates, root cause analysis, risk analysis, standard hookups drawings, etc.

Review, write reports and technical proposals.

Quality assurance and safety, ensuring engineering standards and best practices are adopted to mitigate any potential hazards to personnel or the environment.

Overview of new technologies and applications.

Participating in technical forums to present and showcase Weatherfords WCT portfolio.

The Completions Department needs an Applications Engineer to perform, including but not limited to the following tasks:

• Technical Support (Upper and Lower Completions).
• Overview new technologies and applications.
• Create and update technical documentation such as Running procedures, Technical datasheets, Schematics, Work order templates, Risk Analysis, Standard Hookups, etc.
• Torque and Drag Analysis.
• Root-Cause Analysis.

Qualifications

• A bachelors degree in petroleum engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field, masters degree in petroleum engineering or a similar discipline is a plus.
• 1-5 experience with Oil and Gas industry preferaby with Completions or Petroleum Engineering
