Job Description

Job Title: Shift Leader (Future Vacancy)Profession: Supply Chain, ManufacturingLocation: Jeddah KSAMain Job PurposeA Shift Leader performs leadership, management, and organization tasks to ensure team members work efficiently and effectively during their shift.Duties And Responsibilities

  • Provide direction and feedback to workers during shifts.
  • Review production plans weekly and arrange the necessary material and manpower requirements.
  • Facilitate communication between all departments to ensure uninterrupted workflow.
  • Organize shift schedules for team members.
  • Monitor attendance, tardiness, and time off.
  • Assign duties to specific employees based on role and skills.
  • Supervise employees and assisting with tasks as necessary.
  • Conduct performance reviews and sharing feedback with both upper management and team members.
  • Manage employees requests and transgressions.
  • Train new and current team members on tasks.
  • Handle stakeholder issues and managing conflicts.
  • Adhere to company policies and health, safety, quality, and employment standards.
  • Lead line trials when needed.
  • Propose Kaizens and lead execution.
Key Skills & Experience
  • Bachelors degree in mechanical or industrial Engineering or relevant Associate Diploma.
  • 2 years of proven experience as a Shift Leader.
  • Experience of manufacturing in a Fast-Moving Consumer Goods Company is desirable.
  • Strong background in WCM analysis and tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Leadership skills like decision-making, motivation, and goal setting.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional organization and time management abilities.
  • Conflict resolution skills.
  • Stakeholders management skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate effectively.
  • In-depth industry knowledge.
  • Understanding of relevant health, safety, and quality regulations.
  • Comfortable with workplace technologies.
  • OLE calculation knowledge.
