The opportunityThis is an opportunity to work on one of the largest programmes in Saudi Arabia. This unique project consists of major mixed-use development including sports facilities, entertainment, and arts along with all associated infrastructure. Mace is one of the delivery partners requiring high-calibre and experienced professionals to lead integrated teams throughout each phase of the project., sporting, retail and residential elements, this will be a landmark Project forms the heart of the wider master planned development. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the Program DE / BIM Lead:
  • to develop the Program BIM strategy and implementing it across the Program with a variety of stakeholders - Client, Delivery Partner and Design / Construction Consultants.
  • to produce and write the Programs information management strategy and requirements, including the Exchange Information Requirements (EIR) and Asset Information Requirements (AIR) in accordance with ISO 19650.
  • in the development of Program-wide Information Management (IM) quality and governance workflows and controls within the Program / Project Common Data Environment (CDE) in accordance with ISO 19650 and communicates the benefits of it within the Project teams.
  • to develop knowledge and understanding of building information modelling (BIM) principles across the Projects lifecycle.
  • in guiding the governance of BIM implementation on all Project levels.
  • in developing use of BIM in construction sequencing, costing and operations.
• To implement the adequate use of technology in the design process and implement lean practices to minimise abortive work in multiple design platforms.
• Reviewing consultants BIM Execution Plans.
• Development of software templates and rule sets in line with client requirements.
• Conducting quality checks on models provided by consultants, including verification.
• Providing support to Project delivery teams by managing the resolution of BIM related issues and tasks.
• Chairing BIM facilitated meetings with the Project Director.
• Working with design consultants and contractors to manage the BIM implementation approach on a Project level.
• Establishing a process for collecting, evaluating, and developing parametric Revit content specific to each design practice area.
• Monitoring and guiding the model advancement and utilisation process through construction. Review the contractors BIM model and as-built model are following the EIR and BEP.
• Assisting with integrating into the commissioning process.
