Job Description

1. Production Planning and Scheduling:- Develop and maintain detailed production schedules to meet customer demands and organizational goals.- Coordinate with production managers to allocate resources, machinery, and labor effectively.- Ensure schedules align with production capacity, inventory levels, and delivery deadlines.- Adjust schedules in real-time to accommodate changes, such as equipment breakdowns or material shortages.---2. Resource Allocation:- Plan and allocate resources, including raw materials, equipment, and personnel, to optimize productivity.- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely availability of materials.- Schedule maintenance activities for machinery to minimize downtime and disruptions.---3. Coordination with Departments:- Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and warehouse teams to ensure seamless material flow.- Work closely with quality control to ensure production schedules meet quality standards.- Communicate with sales and customer service teams to align production schedules with customer requirements.---4. Monitoring and Reporting:- Track production progress and compare it against the schedule to identify delays or bottlenecks.- Generate reports on production performance, resource utilization, and schedule adherence.- Analyze data to identify trends and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency.---5. Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting:- Address scheduling conflicts, resource shortages, or unexpected disruptions promptly.- Develop contingency plans to minimize the impact of delays or changes in production.- Work with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and keep production on track.---6. Compliance and Safety:- Ensure scheduling practices comply with safety regulations and company policies.- Incorporate safety checks and maintenance schedules into production plans.- Promote a culture of safety by aligning schedules with safe work practices.---7.
