Job Title:QC Inspector – WeldingQualifications:Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Civil Engineering for Civil Inspector roles)Responsibilities:Perform inspection and testing of welding works to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.Review drawings, specifications, and procedures related to welding activities.Conduct visual inspections, dimensional checks, and non-destructive testing (NDT) as required.Prepare inspection reports and maintain accurate records of inspections and tests.Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and QA/QC teams to resolve quality issues.Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards at all times.Requirements:Minimum 6+ years of experience in welding or relevant inspection roles.Gulf experience preferred/mandatory depending on the project.Certifications (required/preferred):CSWIP 3.1 / ASNT Level II (RT, UT, MT, PT)NACE Level 2/3 or BGAS 1/2 (for Painting & Coating inspections)GRE Material Manufacturer Certifications (for GRE projects)API 653 (for Tanks)Strong knowledge of welding standards, codes, and inspection techniques.Attention to detail and ability to prepare accurate reports.
