Job Description

Basic Function

  • The Projects Coordinator function is to support the PMO Head in managing multiple projects while providing project management support to business functions as assigned.
  • Tracks project progress, schedules, issues, risks, KPI and report their results.
  • Coordinate and conduct project meetings and communicate assignments and agreed actions the to all teams involved.
  • Performs a range of administrative tasks to keep the team well informed on project progress by communicating essential project information, creating project templates, review and edit project deliverables.
Skills and Abilities
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate and disseminate information.
  • Excellent communication skills written and verbal (English)
  • Excellent skills in the use of the core Microsoft package (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project).
  • Project and planning skills with the ability to prepare and implement action plans.
  • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision both alone and as part of the project team.
  • Personal mobility to enable site visits across the district.
  • Ability to suggest creative solutions to secure a positive outcome.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks on a daily basis and plan own workload to achieve results within deadlines/timescales set.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree preferably in Science or Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Project Management field.
