Role PurposeWe are looking for an exceptional Project Manager with hands-on experience to lead our team of onsite technical teams in the efficient management of commercial kitchen installation equipment projects. You will be a point of escalation, develop and implement risk mitigation strategies, and actively manage your own project portfolio.In addition to your project management skills, you will also have strong engineering aptitude, organizational skills, and management experience. You will be able to spend time both in the field supervising and in the office coordinating schedules, estimating project install durations, and working with sales, marketing, and engineering teams to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing company that is making a real difference in the commercial kitchen equipment industry.   • Ensure the smooth coordination of field activities, including rough-in inspections and measurements, with contractors, customers, and stakeholders.
  • Review equipment releases, approve shop drawings for custom/fabrication items, purchase orders, color selections, and utility information to release equipment timely, accurately, and within budget.
  • Manage change orders by providing change proposals, RFIs and review bulletins for any required changes to equipment; Coordinate changes in the field with contractor and other impacted trades.
  • Review design documents for accuracy and proposal compliance
  • Support estimating and sales efforts for new projects; Provide pre-bid inspections, project meetings, scope reviews, and site inspections.
  • Coordinate warranty calls and installation issues after turn-over of project for warranty period.
  • Ensure a smooth handover from Sales to Projects and then from Projects to Client.
  • Escalate and resolve service affecting issues that arise promptly.
  • Ensure the provisioning and administration is well controlled and delivered within agreed timescales.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree or higher in Engineering (preferably Mechanical)
  • Min 5+ years of commercial project management experience, including 5+ years as a project manager, with experience in commercial kitchen equipment or the hotel industry preferred, but not required.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
  • Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
  • Strong business acumen in project planning and management
  • Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
Desired Qualifications
  • Prior experience on Project Planning Software, (MS Project, Project 365, Primavera P6).
  • Prior experience on engineer software, (AutoCAD, SOLIDWORKS, etc.).
