NEOM Green Hydrogen Company (NGHC)NEOM Green Hydrogen Company (NGHC) is an equal joint venture between Air Products, ACWA Power, and NEOM responsible for the development of the NEOM Green Hydrogen Project in the autonomous NEOM region within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Project will see the construction of the worlds largest plant to produce green hydrogen at scale, producing up to 600 tonnes of carbon-free hydrogen per day through the integration of approximately 4GW of Solar and Wind energy. The plant will produce green ammonia for export to global markets and is scheduled to be onstream in 2026.POSITION SUMMARYThis is a fulltime position, based at the NEOM Green Hydrogen Project site location, providing Company oversight of all Contractor and Sub-contractor lifting activities, plant and equipment on the NGHP and HIDC projects.The incumbent will be required to act as the Company Subject Matter Expert on all matters relating to lifting activities and mobile plant and equipment on project sites. The incumbent will support the Contractor in the planning, coordination and execution of all lifting activities as required, including the erection and dismantling of cranes. The incumbent shall ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards and established codes of practice.The incumbent shall have the required previous lifting activities experience required for this role and be required to possess sound knowledge in EHS management systems in the industrial sector. Additionally, the incumbent shall provide oversight for heavy haul load transportation, to ensure safe transport, and loading and unloading of equipment and materials. The incumbent will report directly to the NGHC EHS&S Director, working closely with the EHS&S team and respective Elements and the EPC Contractor.NATURE & SCOPEThe primary function of this position is:To act as the NGHC Subject matter expert and the EPC contractor point of contact for all lifting operations and activities across NGHP and HIDC projects with the main objective of ensuring safe and successful lifting operations.JOB DETAILSGroup: NGHC EHS&S DepartmentREPORTS TO: EHS&S DirectorLIAISE/COOPERATE WITH: All internal and external stakeholdersOF DIRECT REPORTS: NAPRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIESCompany SME for lifting operations on NGHP & HIDCReview of project arrangements and provide key input with regards to safe and successful planning, supervision and execution of lifting operationsReview of EPC Contractor EHS Plans & Lifting documentation, familiarisation with site lifting requirementsReview of the supply chain lifting competencies / resources (including pre-mob / pre - use inspections and checks as appropriate)Conduct ongoing competency monitoring of appointed contractor & subcontractor lifting supervisorsSite monitoring of EPC Contractor lifting operations and performing assurance monitoring (auditing / inspection) of site lifting operations and associated documentationPromotion of safe lifting best practices always throughout the project with a focus on continual improvement to help drive safe and successful lifting operationsReview of project lift plansReview and monitoring of EPC Contractors Equipment Transportation, Logistics and Delivery plansProvide best practice guidance on Transportation and Hauling of Heavy/Abnormal loads.Review engineering documentation for lifting and transportation of loading equipment.Provide key input to NGHC Compliance and Assurance plans and processesDeveloping and maintaining effective communication and contractor management including the provision of coaching and guidance, as neededSupporting NGHC in communications with internal and external stakeholdersAttend
