NEOM Green Hydrogen Company (NGHC)NEOM Green Hydrogen Company (NGHC) is an equal joint venture between Air Products, ACWA Power, and NEOM responsible for the development of the NEOM Green Hydrogen Project in the autonomous NEOM region within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Project will see the construction of the worlds largest plant to produce green hydrogen at scale, producing up to 600 tonnes of carbon-free hydrogen per day through the integration of approximately 4GW of Solar and Wind energy. The plant will produce green ammonia for export to global markets and is scheduled to be onstream in 2026.POSITION SUMMARYThe EHS Supervisor will provide EHS oversight, assurance, and support to the Power Generation (Wind) scope which consists of the construction, installation, testing and commissioning of a 1.6GW onshore wind farm. The incumbent is responsible to ensure NGHC EHS requirements are implemented throughout the supply chain and ensuring that the EPC Contractor project EHS management systems are implemented effectively by the supply chain. The incumbent will work closely with the EPC Contactor to evaluate health, safety and environmental hazards & risks and to align on strategies to control risks in the workplace with subsequent monitoring to ensure NGHC risk exposure is minimized. This position will report to the NGHC EHS Lead - Power Generation.NATURE & SCOPEThe primary functions of this position are:To be the NGHC focal point for all EHS site-based matters relating to the Power Generation (Wind) scope of work with a key objective of ensuring the NGHC risk exposure is minimised, and safe and successful work execution at site.To ensure implementation of the NGHC EHS management system (where applicable)To provide EHS guidance, communication, and support, for work being conducted at the onshore wind farm construction site, while working in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.JOB DETAILSGroup: NGHC EHS&S DepartmentREPORTS TO: EHS Lead - Power GenerationLIAISE/COOPERATE WITH: Internal EHS&S and PMT. External EPC Contractor and Sub-contractor(s)OF DIRECT REPORTS: NAPRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIESSupport the development and implementation of the NGHC EHS management systems across all project sites with a focus on continual improvementEnsure EHS risks have been pro-actively identified, assessed and risk mitigation measures are implemented within the supply chain activities. Including in participation in EPC contractor / sub-contractor led risk workshopsReview of EPC Contractor & Sub-contractor EHS documentation and Emergency management plans and arrangementsAssist the NGHC and EPC project teams in identifying EHS concerns, identifying solutions and corrective actions, tracking until closure of the actions and monitoring of the effectiveness.Support the NGHC EHS&S department in the implementation of the overall department Compliance and Assurance programAssist the EHS lead with the development and implementation of a scope / site specific monitoring and inspection schedule in alignment with NGHC EHS Management System and requirements including corrective action management (raising, distributing, tracking, reporting)Produce and distribute, contribute to, or review reports as appropriate (inspections, audits, incidents, EHS KPIs etc.) and ensure correct administration of suchParticipating in incident investigations (as required) and review of EPC contractor incident management process including timely notification, reporting and QA of such reportsMonitor and assurance of the implementation of a control of work processParticipate in project and site meetings and provide key EHS inputEnsuring EHS information/expertise is provided to the site teams when requiredDemon
