and QualificationsTHE PROJECTNEOM GREEN HYDROGEN COMPANY:Air Products has entered into a Joint Venture agreement with ACWA Power and NEOM and together established the NEOM GREEN HYDROGEN COMPANY (NGHC). The Company will be Owner and Operator of the world?s first and largest green hydrogen project at an estimated capital investment of USD $ 5bn. This unique project will be a fore-runner in green hydrogen-based ammonia production and will serve the new and growing global Hydrogen markets. The facility will be sited in NEOM, KSA and will be powered by more than 4GW of renewable solar, wind and battery storage. The project is scheduled to be onstream in 2026.NATURE & SCOPEThe Project Leadership team is looking for an experienced Document Controller who can coordinate and execute document control and data management services in support of the project?s execution strategy and needs for both internal and external interfaces.POSITION SUMMARYTo perform in this capacity, the Document Controller?s functions for the Project will include:

  • Work with the Document Control Manager to ensure that document control requirements are satisfactorily met throughout the project duration.
  • Support in correct application of the Project Document Management Process and ensuring that all approved policies and procedures are consistently implemented and administrated throughout the project duration.
  • Receiving, classifying, filing, transmitting, archiving and retrieval of all documentation, in accordance with the project?s document management methodology and Quality Control system.
  • Quality check of documents as per project requirements.
  • Provide Help Desk support on the Document Management Tools in use.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESIn accordance with the project Instructions, the Document Management Manager has the responsibility for the following duties:
  • Undertake daily administration of the corporate Document Management system to provide reliable and consistent project document management services in support of the execution teams.
  • Provide document control support to all internal and external project management, engineering and site management personnel in accordance with project specifications
  • Managing document version and revision control, information security, including access, retrieval, editing and distribution requirements and document and communication compliance.
  • Assisting with the development, preservation and maintenance of Document Management Knowledge systems, model documentation and templates to promote best practices and continuous improvement.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONSEducation
  • Bachelor?s degree in Business Management, HND / HNC or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum 8 years document control experience within a large project-oriented EPC or Owner Organization
  • Experience within industrial gases, oil & gas or related industry will be a further benefit
  • Strong knowledge of Opentext, Aconex, MS SharePoint.
  • SAP experience is a plus
Competencies
  • Experience in electronic data formats production and retention requirements
  • Extensive knowledge of project document closeout and handover procedures
  • Knowledge of file format conversion process
  • Knowledge of various electronic document management applications
  • Ability to work within an established team to achieve targets and goals.
  • Strong knowledge and proficiency with the Microsoft office suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, One Note) and Adobe tools.
  • Configuration of the EDMS and implementing changes to make processes more efficient
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience of working in a multicultural project team
  • Middle East experience
  • KSA experience
