Job Description

SummaryManages, organizes and coordinates the administrative and operational activities of Outreach Support section of. Establishes and maintains internal communication and collaboration among functional areas and ensures that available resources are optimally utilized to achieve and set goals and objectives of the Department.Essential Responsibilities and Duties

  1. Maintains and develops policies and procedures related to Sectionoperations, Hospital systems, and subsystems ensures staff compliance withpolicies and procedures.
  2. Coordinates with concerned Hospital departments and organizesconsultation and diagnostic visits by consultant-physicians and otherprofessional staff of the Hospital to participating key Ministry of Health(MOH) regional healthcare institutions.
  3. Develops with concerned departments the Telehealth Services ownmonitoring system to ensure proper implementation of Outreach Supportsprograms.
  4. Promotes the tele-health development in the internet-based medicalservices. Endorses and organizes broadcasting of videoconference and/orconsultations of medical and non-medical activities with participating key MOHregional healthcare institutions, international specialized centers, andcommunity centers.
  5. Promotes and affiliates with regional telemedicine network, and developsassociation with international telehealth organizations.
  6. Manages the e-network of the healthcare organizations that deal with theHospital. Creates e-Health projects in coordination with other health care organizationslocally and internationally
  7. Develops and maintains an updated database of the healthcareorganizations in the Kingdom.
  8. Acts as a reference in the e-health for the MOH and other allied healthcare organizations.
  9. Prepares reports assessing selected medical departments and clinicalservices needs in participating key MOH regional healthcare institutions.
  10. Assists with the implantation of recommended protocol and standards,educational needs, equipment, and medications. Recommends, and assists with theimplantation of approved quality improvement programs, of the assignedservices/functions.
  11. Assists in the development of Regional Centres inparticipating key MOH regional healthcare institutions.
  12. Recommends for approval-required resources, e.g. budget, space,equipment, and personnel.
  13. Interviews applications and orients new hires to the proper operationsof the Department. Develops schedules, assigns employees and monitorsperformances, evaluation employees and recommends appropriate actions inaccordance with established policies and procedures.
  14. Communicates with all administrative, financial and medical services inthe Hospital to pursue services required for the operation of the Department.Prepares studies and submits reports as requested or directed.
  15. Follows all Hospitals relatedPolicies and Procedures.
  16. Participates in self andothers education, training and development, as applicable.
  17. Performs other related duties as assigned.
EducationMasters or Bachelors Degree in Hospital Administration, or otherrelated discipline is required.Experience RequiredFive (5) years of related experience with Masters, or seven (7) yearswith Bachelors Degree including two (2) years in a senior/ supervisorycapacity is required.Grade 12:Seven (7) years of related experience with Masters,or nine (9) years with Bachelors Degree, including four (4) years of (Grade11) is required.Other Requirements(Certificates)Saudi National Only.
