Job Description

The opportunityProject: This is an opportunity to work on one of the largest programmes in Saudi Arabia. This unique project consists of major mixed-use development including sports facilities, entertainment, and arts along with all associated infrastructure. Mace is one of the delivery partners requiring high-calibre and experienced professionals to lead integrated teams throughout each phase of the project. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Reporting to the inventory manager.
  • Being responsible for ensuring a smooth flow of vehicle movements to the construction sites.
  • Developing an interim delivery management system under the guidance of the materials project manager until the permanent web-based system has been procured and implemented.
  • Supporting the inventory manager project manager in all processes.
  • Working with the project managers to establish the delivery rules and capacities for their projects and the overall capacity of vehicles coming into and through construction sites.
  • Booking the deliveries against a set of pre-determined time slots.
  • Working with the contractors in cases of capacity issues and rescheduling deliveries as required.
  • Managing KPIs as well as working with the contractors to improve performance.
  • Providing training to contractors staff in terms of using the delivery management system.
About youYou are confident in managing issues and liaising with both contractors and construction staff, you can work to deadlines under your own initiative and supervision, you are a proactive team member, willing to learn and contribute to the wider team, and you have excellent organisational and communication skills. You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships, and be part of strong, motivated teams.
